Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actor. She also has produced films, including Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. While growing up in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, Patton had many goals. Her mother was a movie lover and urged her to enjoy movies as a young person. Paula was involved in the co-curricular activities of her school and was particularly drawn to the dramatic arts. Paula enjoyed acting with her friends, and she participated in school productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School gave her many opportunities to be an actor throughout her schooling and she chose acting as a career. She enjoyed her summer at University of Southern California. She was given a three month task to produce documentary films for PBS. Following the successful completion of the task, she began becoming a production assistant for TV documentaries. Then, she switched to produce documentaries. Although she enjoyed her career however, she longed for becoming an actress. Her acting journey began by playing a minor character in the film romantic comedy Hitch along with Will Smith. Since then she has appeared on many TV and film programs.
